The much-awaited 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set to commence on April 11, 2025, and will run through until May 18, 2025. Organised by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), this premier T20 tournament promises to deliver a month-long cricketing spectacle. 

Defending Champions, Islamabad United will look to retain their crown, while former champions such as Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, and Multan Sultans will aim to reclaim their glory on the big stage. Additionally, the Quetta Gladiators, who won the fourth edition of the PSL, will be looking to make a significant impact and challenge the other franchises for the trophy.  

The tournament is expected to generate massive excitement as it runs parallel to the ongoing IPL 2025. 

On Which Date Will PSL 10 Start?

The PSL 2025 season will start on April 11, 2025 in Rawalpindi, featuring a star-studded opener between defending champions Islamabad United and two-time winners Lahore Qalandars. 

How Many Teams Will  Be There In PSL 2025?

In PSL 2025 six franchises will participate: Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings, and Multan Sultans. 

How Many Matches Are In PSL?

In PSL 2025, a total of 34 matches including four thrilling playoffs, will take place across four iconic venues in Pakistan.   

Where Will PSL 2025 Be Held?

• Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including two Eliminators and the grand final.
• Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will stage 11 matches, including the Qualifier.
• Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will host five matches each.

The first season of the Pakistan Premier League was started in the year 2016. It is important to note that the season was played in the UAE due to the ban on cricket in Pakistan.

Who Won PSL 1?

The first season of the PSL was played entirely in the United Arab Emirates due to security reasons. In the first season Peshawar Zalmi won the final match by 58 runs against Quetta Gladiators.
