PSL team Multan Sultans has made a big and kind-hearted promise this season. They have announced that for every six hit and every wicket taken by their team during the tournament, they will donate PKR 1 lakh to the Palestine Children Relief Fund.

PSL 2025 season kicked off on April 11 with Islamabad United beating Lahore Qalandars to win the tournament opener. Meanwhile, on day 2, Multan Sultans took on Karachi Kings at the National Stadium.

Before the game went on floors, the Sultans ownership made a big promise to help the war hit region of Palestine.

Multan Sultans Pledge Aid To Palestine Children

The Multan Sultans have pledged to donate PKR 1 Lakh to Palestine Children Relief Fund for every six hit and wickets taken by their team during the PSL 2025 season.

Franchise owner Ali Khan Tareen shared the news through a message. He said:

“We have decided that in this season, we will support charity foundations working in Palestine. For every six hit by a Multan player, we will donate Rs 1 lakh. Our bowlers also wanted to help, so we will also donate the same amount for every wicket taken by our bowlers.”

He further explained that while their focus is on playing good cricket, they also want to support children who are in great need.

Sultans Lose To Karachi In Season Opener

Multan Sultans started their PSL 2025 season with a four-wicket loss to Karachi Kings on Saturday. Batting first, captain Mohammad Rizwan’s century helped Sultans post a 234-run total on the board.

However, James Vince responded back with a 101 off 43 balls knock. Khushdil Shah also contributed a blazing 60 off 37 to power Karachi to a successful chase and seal a 4-wicket big win.

Despite the defeat, the Sultans managed to raise PKR 15 lakh for the Palestinian cause in just their first match, thanks to a combination of sixes and wickets.
