For the 28th match of the IPL 2025 series, Rajasthan Royals will play against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. The game will take place on April 13 at 3.30 PM IST.

RR had a shaky start to their campaign, losing their first 2 games. But the Sanju Samson-led team quickly bounced back with back-to-back wins, beating CSK and PBKS in style. These wins got them going and pumped them with confidence.

However, things didn’t go well in their last match, where they faced a heavy 58-run defeat at the hands of the GT in Ahmedabad. The loss exposed some weaknesses in their middle order and bowling unit, which they will now look to fix.

Meanwhile, RCB with their big-hitting batting order, won't be making it any easier. It will be a high-risk game as both sides try to climb the points table.

The first record is just 6 sixes away. Sanju has already hit 344 sixes in T20 cricket, and he needs just 6 more to reach the 350 sixes mark. This would be a big achievement for the stylish right-handed batter, who is known for his clean and powerful hitting. 

Whether it's over cover or straight down the ground, Sanju has always shown the ability to clear the ropes with ease. Hence, if he manages to have a good start as an opener, he can chase down this record with ease.

2. Sanju Samson needs 1 dismissal to complete 100 dismissals for RR

The second milestone is a special one for Rajasthan Royals fans. Sanju Samson needs just 1 more dismissal as a wicketkeeper to complete 100 dismissals for RR in the IPL. This includes both catches and stumpings. 

Through the years, Samson has been a safe and alert presence behind the stumps. Be it diving to catch a swift catch or effecting a clever stumping, he has been RR's go-to first-choice wicketkeeper.
