The much-anticipated 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is just around the corner as it is set to kick off on the upcoming Friday, April 11. Defending champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars will be up against each other in the tournament's curtain raiser in Rawalpindi.

The Cricket fans across the country are buzzing with excitement as a terrific season of intense competition and high quality cricket awaits in front of them. Multan Sultans will also begin their campaign on Saturday evening, squaring off against Karachi Kings in what is expected to be another blockbuster clash.

With star-studded squads, passionate fan bases, and fierce rivalries, PSL 10 is shaping up to be one of the most spectacular seasons of Pakistan’s premier cricket franchise league's history.

Captain Rizwan Drops Iconic Trademark 'Hum Champions' Speech

Preparations are in full swing for Multan Sultans as they gear up for their first match on Saturday in Karachi. The 2021 champions have assembled their squad, with almost all the local and overseas players joining the team, including captain Mohammad Rizwan, who set the tone with a spirited speech in their training huddle.

His words energized the players, emphasizing unity, positivity, and thinking like a champion from the very start of the tournament. With a balanced squad and strong leadership, the Sultans look focused and ready to make a strong start into the 2025 campaign.

"To everyone present here, our mindset will be so strong and elevated that it will decide the course of our lives, not just this tournament. Whatever we talk about between ourselves, it will be about winning, about becoming champions. Even if we have just a 0.99% chance, we must still talk like champions. Nothing less than that," Rizwan said ahead of the team training.

Rizwan further urged his team to stay focused on the ultimate goal of reaching the final and lifting the trophy. He asked his players to avoid doubts, remain confident, and play with purpose, reminding them to keep the final date in their minds.

"From management to players, everyone must remember that the final is on this date, and this is how we will reach and play it. The purpose of me speaking in this meeting is to ensure that the final's date is fixed in your mind and there should be any other doubts on qualification scenarios," Rizwan added.

With a month-long cricket celebration ahead, Multan Sultans will be aiming to give the fans full value for their time and support. Led by Rizwan, the 2021 champions will be determined to reclaim the trophy and bring the silverware home once again.
