Players To Be Traded On Loan For IPL 2025; BCCI's Agendas For Meet With IPL Owners Revealed

In the latest development around IPL 2025, then it is official that the BCCI board members will meet IPL owners on July 31 at 7:30 pm. 

The meeting will take place at the BCCI office on the fourth floor of the Wankhede Stadium Complex. The main agenda of the meeting would be a discussion over the 'Impact player rule' that was introduced two years ago.

Further, Cricbuzz released a list of agendas for the upcoming meeting and interestingly, the owners and the board will also discuss about a possible introduction of giving players on loan as seen in football. 

Impact Player Rule To Be Scrapped Off?

In the much-awaited meet, the teams would also discuss whether to continue with the impact player rule or not. Notably, the rule was introduced two-years ago, but several team owners have expressed their disappointment over the rule. Check out the full agendas of BCCI for the meeting on July 31:

A. Players Retention / Right to Match

B. Salary Cap (Auction Purse, Incremental Performance Pay & Match Fee)

C. 2025 Mega Auction

D. Capped to uncapped players

E. Player Trade / Player Loan

There will also be discussion over other things such as IPL central merchandising and IPL gaming rights.
