Pakistan cricket is in a state of turmoil as it is undergoing several changes following the T20 World Cup debacle. The board held meetings with Pakistan coaches, Gary Kirsten and Jason Gillespie and asked them about their future plans.

The PCB learnt that the team is divided, and even Shaheen Afridi misbehaved with one of the coaches. Thus, in the latest development around Pakistan cricket, the PCB is likely to make shocking changes for the upcoming Bangladesh Test series.

The report suggests that fitness would be a key criterion for selection and several unfit players might lose their spot in the Pakistan Test team against Bangladesh.

According to a media report, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Saim Ayub, and Nauman Ali are among those who could face an axe.

Discussions are ongoing regarding Imam-ul-Haq, and decisions about Aamir Jamal and Hasan Ali's inclusion will depend on their fitness assessments.

It is to be seen whether the PCB punishes Shaheen Afridi for his actions and drops him for the upcoming series.

Talking about the Bangladesh series, then The Tigers will travel to Pakistan for a two-match Test series starting on August 21.

Meanwhile, Jason Gillespie recently remarked that only fit players will be a part of the team and fitness will be a top criteria for selection.
