The preparation for the tenth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is up and running. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have started their promotional events for the league as the competition is all set to commence from April 11.

In an innovative approach to promote the upcoming season of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has invited Colombia’s famous cliff diving champion Orlando Duque. The preparation for the tenth edition of PSL is up and running as the tournament is set to commence from April 11 later this year.

PCB's Innovative Marketing Strategy

Orlando Duque, a Colombian cliff diving legend, is known for his unbelievable dives from towering heights. He has won multiple world titles for his breathtaking dives and the Red Bull Cliff Diving championship as well. He is now set to be involved with PCB, alongside Red Bull Pakistan, in their marketing campaign of Pakistan’s prestigious franchise cricket league.

The moment was announced through a social media post, where Orlando revealed about his arrival in Karachi and his collaboration with Pakistan cricket for a secret mission. While the details remain unknown, Orlando has hinted that the campaign will involve thrilling water stunts.

The move has surely added an element of excitement amongst the Pakistani fans and will give PCB an opportunity to take the league to a broader audience around the world. With the PSL season fast approaching, PCB’s strategy to bring in a global sports icon like Orlando will surely boost the fan engagement and global recognition.

Countdown To PSL 2025

Coming to the 2025 edition of the PSL, the six-team tournament is scheduled to kick-off from 11 April. The defending champions Islamabad United will square off against Lahore Qalandars in the season opener at the Rawalpindi Stadium.

It will be a month-long tournament, featuring a total of 34 matches across four venues in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Karachi and Multan. The knockout stage will start from May 13 in Rawalpindi and the final will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on May 18.
