Former Pakistan fast bowler Umar Gul is aiming to land a coaching gig with the Bangladesh cricket team. The legendary speedster is currently in discussions with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) over the prospects of taking over as team’s fast bowling coach. The pace attack of the Bangladesh cricket team is currently supervised by former New Zealand cricketer Andre Adams.
While Adams is currently under a two-year contract with the BCB that will run until February 2026 next year, there are reports that he will likely discontinue his role owing to his “dissatisfying” performance with the team.
