The new Mumbai Indians captain, Hardik Pandya, has now probably started to find his feet in the new role for MI as they won two in two. The Wankhede crowd, after the request of Virat Kohli today, also had their skipper's back as he finished off the game with his cameo of 21*(6).

As Mumbai make it 4 points on the table, Hardik has also turned the boos against him into applause.However,Twitter had mixed reactions again. Some people have finally started accepting Hardik Pandya as their captain while a few are still not convinced while some celebrated him not bowling in the Powerplay.

After endless abuse from the fans, Hardik has finally started delivering and it is paying him dividends. The tides have started turning his way as he slowly but surely being appreciated by MI's home crowd. The team's collective effort didn't help him initially too but they now find themselves in good state and would like to continue the same.
