Hardik Pandya has been under lot of criticism in recent times for taking over the leadership of MI from Rohit Sharma. They lost the initial three games as well, but now are charging back in the competition with consecutive wins and it was Hardik who sealed the deal against RCB with a magnificent six against Akash Deep.

Hardik Pandya walked out to bat at number 4 and slammed 21 off just 6 balls with three superb sixes in it. The last one was a stunning shot though to cap off the game. It was a very full delivery from 'round the wicket by Akash Deep and Pandya who was standing deep in his crease delivered a short-arm jab that went sailing over the extra cover fence.

Before Hardik, Ishan Kishan blasted 69 off 34 balls while Suryakumar Yadav was at his vintage best with brilliant 52 off just 19 balls.

Rohit Sharma too scored 38 and spoiled RCB's party after they posted 196 in the first innings. For the visitors, Faf du Plessis, Rajat Patidar and Dinesh Karthik scored fifties but it was not enough as they ended up losing their fifth game of the season.
