West Indies all-rounder Akeal Hosein won his side the second T20I of the ongoing series versus India. Hosein's two wickets and 10-ball 16 turned out to be very crucial as the Windies managed to attain a two-wicket victory.
While Hosein in himself is being the multi-faceted player that the West Indies need, he had always desired to become an all-rounder similar to Ravindra Jadeja in capabilities.
Almost 10 years ago, Hosein had tagged Jadeja in a tweet as he expressed his wish to become an all-rounder like him.
"One day... I'd like to become a player like him…," Hosein tweeted in 2013.
Now, as destiny is, the 30-year-old is doing wonders with the ball and is also starting to finish games for the Caribbean side, just what Jadeja does for India.
After grappling, India's batting roster exhibited a commendable show in the 3rd T20I, resulting in a commanding triumph for the team in a pivotal contest. The 7-wicket victory has upheld the series' competitive nature. West Indies had achieved consecutive victories in the first two matches, underscoring their need for a more potent resurgence in the fourth T20I in Florida to secure the series victory.
