When Will India Announce ODI World Cup 2023 Squad? Here is the Latest Update

As the ODI World Cup 2023 nears its commencement, there is a special buzz around in the air. More so, because the teams participating in the tournament will soon announce their 15-member squad.
While Australia have already released the names of 18 players included in their preliminary squad for the upcoming World Cup, other teams will soon follow them in the coming days.
As far as the rules are concerned, all sides are to announce the initial list of their 15 players latest by September 5. Although this list could still undergo a few changes up until September 27, also the date the final 15-player contingent for the competition will be named by all teams.
Doubts remain for India
Though there are not many matches left for India in their preparation for the World Cup, they are yet to finalise their squad.
Mostly, it is about Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul as the duo is still recovering from their respective injuries. While there have been encouraging reports on Rahul, who might feature in the nearing Asia Cup, Iyer is yet to reach full fitness.
India have been trying Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson in their absence. However, these two batters have not grabbed the chances.
Leading up to the big event, the Men in Blue will play the Asia Cup 2023 and a three-match ODI series against Australia.
