Virat Kohli has undoubtedly been one of the most exceptional players in Indian cricket history. Whether it's accumulating massive runs or showcasing outstanding efforts on the field, Kohli has consistently set high standards in both franchise and international cricket.

His remarkable talent and dedication have earned him admiration not only from fans in his own country but also from rivals across the globe.

In a noteworthy endorsement, former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu has hailed Virat Kohli as the greatest Indian batsman of all time.

Speaking to the media, Navjot Singh Sidhu remarked that Kohli is aging like a fine wine, with his fitness improving continually.

He highlighted Kohli's exceptional technical ability and his remarkable knack for adapting to all formats of the game as factors that have contributed to his greatness.

Sidhu also drew a parallel between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, equating their stature in the world of cricket.

“I would rate Virat Kohli as the Greatest Indian Batsman for the simple reason, his fitness, he getting fitter with age like old wine. And Technically very sound and he has the uncanny knack of adapting to all formats, same goes to Rohit Sharma”, Sidhu said.

Will Virat Kohli play IPL 2024?

After taking a subsequent break from international cricket due to the arrival of his second child, Virat Kohli has returned to the cricket fold, landing in Bengaluru ahead of the Indian Premier League 2024 season.

The player was spotted practicing in the nets and attending the RCB Unbox event. With only a few days of practice, it remains to be seen if Virat Kohli will be ready in time for the season opener against Chennai Super Kings on Friday.

Rohit Sharma will ply his trade without captaincy for the first time in a decade while featuring for Mumbai Indians whereas Virat Kohli will look forward to make his case for the ICC Cricket T20 World Cup with a stupendous performance for RCB.
