Team India registered a historic T20 World Cup win on 29th of June in Barbados by beating South Africa in the finals by seven runs. The World Cup win came after 13 long years, and straight after the return from Barbados, Rohit Sharma and co. had a special meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

There was a nice photoshoot with the trophy and players, and Narendra Modi was also given a special jersey named Namo with number 1 printed on it. Team India has now left Delhi for Mumbai for the victory parade from Marine Drive to Wankhede.

It will be a repeat of the victory parade held after the T20 World Cup 2007 win, and would be a memorable event for all the players and Indian fans all over the world.

Talking about India's victory in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024, it was a close victory with match going right down to the wire. At one point in time, South Africa were favourites to win the game with just 26 needed of 24 balls, but Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh turned the tables, and India came out on top to create history at Barbados.
