Mohammed Siraj seems to have put his RCB days behind him for good as the Indian fast bowler was spotted training alongside his Gujarat Titans colleagues for the upcoming IPL 2025 season. On March 13, Siraj was seen bowling a few overs during a nets training session as he preps himself for his return to competitive cricket.

Notably, the occasion also marked Mohammed Siraj’s 31st birthday, prompting the Gujarat Titans franchise to share a heartfelt birthday post on social media for the seasoned speedster.

Mohammed Siraj bowled a few overs during a nets training session for the Gujarat Titans, as confirmed by the franchise itself on their social media accounts on March 13. The franchise also took this opportunity to extend its birthday wishes for the senior Indian fast bowler, who turned 31 on the same day.

Mohammed Siraj's IPL Journey

Mohammed Siraj, who made his IPL debut back in 2017 for the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise, played his subsequent seven seasons for the RCB alongside Virat Kohli up until IPL 2024. The cricketer was released by the RCB management later in the year 2024 prior to the IPL 2025 mega auction.

RCB’s move allowed the Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans franchise to snap up the speedster for a staggering sum of Rs. 12.25 crore.

Mohammed Siraj, who was ruled out of India’s 2025 ICC Champions Trophy squad in the UAE in favour of an inexperienced Harshit Rana, has not played a single international match since Team India’s disastrous five-match Test tour of Australia earlier this year. He recently turned up for Hyderabad for the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy for a match against Vidarbha.
