In a touching moment, Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj presented his T20 World Cup winning medal to his mother Shabana Begum after reaching his hometown, Hyderabad.

Siraj received a rousing applause as thousands gathered to welcome back their hero after winning the T20 World Cup, a couple of days ago.

The Hyderabad-born seamer is close to his family, and in a adorable moment, he made his mother wear the winners' medal and shared the image on his Instagram handle, with a caption "Boss".

The image has gone viral and fans are loving this beautiful gesture which Siraj has shown towards his mother.

Talking about Siraj's performance in the T20 World Cup, the pace bowler played three matches, but failed to impress, picking up just a solitary wicket. With the Super 8 stage taking place in West Indies, the star seamer was dropped from the playing XI in place of Kuldeep Yadav.

Notably, the Indian team landed in Delhi on Thursday and they were met with enthusiastic cricket fans, who waited for hours at the airport, just to get a glimpse of the T20 World champions. Also, the team were invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a special breakfast.

Moreover, the Rohit Sharma led side had a victory parade in Marine Drive, Mumbai, and a special event was organized by the BCCI to felicitate the Indian side.
