Following the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 victory, emotions have been running high as the Indian men’s cricket team is set to tour Zimbabwe for a five-match T20I series at the Harare Sports Club in Harare, Zimbabwe starting on Saturday. 

In a much-anticipated first T20I encounter between Team India and Zimbabwe the 'Men in Blue' captain Shubman Gill, won the match and opted to bowl first. 


Riyan Parag Received His Debut Cap From His Father 

Before the toss, in a significant development, youngsters Abhishek Sharma, Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel got their T20I debut caps for India. 

Riyan Parag grabbed the limelight when he received his maiden call-up on the back of a brilliant IPL 2024. He was handed his debut cap by his father Parag Das, who is a former First Class cricketer of Assam.

Riyan Parag was one of the three cricketers who made his debut for India and received a landmark as he became the first male cricketer from Assam to represent India at the highest level. 

The 22-year-old received his cap from his father and it was a great gesture from Indian team management to allow him to present the cap to his son.
