Khaleel Ahmed Gets Frustrated As Avesh Khan Drops A Dolly [X.com]
In the ongoing five-match T20I series, the Shubman Gill-led Indian team won the toss and opted to bat first against Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club on July 6.
The match saw an early breakthrough for India as they removed Zimbabwean opener Innocent Kaia in the first over, setting a promising tone for the visitors.
However, the fourth over witnessed an unexpected fielding error from Avesh Khan. Positioned at deep backward point, Avesh dropped a straightforward catch offered by the talented Zimbabwean batsman Bennet.

Khaleel Ahmed bowled a shorter delivery outside off and was slashed by Bennet, catching the outer half of his bat and flying towards Avesh. Despite settling under the ball, Avesh failed to grasp it, allowing it to trickle away to the boundary. Khaleel Ahmed was visibly seen frustrated.
This lapse not only gave Bennet a lifeline but also added four runs to Zimbabwe’s total, however, India's spinner Ravi Bishnoi removed him after scoring 22 runs.
At the time of writing, Zimbabwe stands at 40 for 2 in 6 overs.
