Australia's star seamer Mitchell Starc is making headlines as he has issued warning shots to Rohit Sharma and Company with his brilliance in the ongoing Sheffield Shield Trophy.
Notably, India will travel to Australia for a five-match Test series from November 22. Ahead of the crucial Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Starc is currently featuring in the ongoing Sheffield Shield tournament.

In the ongoing match between Victoria and New South Wales, Starc, featuring for the latter, took a three-wicket haul in the second innings. He got rid of opener Ashley Chandrasinghe on the 2nd ball of the match and rattled his stumps to provide the desired start for his team. Further, Starc got the wickets of Marcus Harris and Campbell Kellaway.
Notably, Starc had a below-par performance in the first innings as took just a solitary wicket.
Talking about the match, Victoria, batting first, put 272 runs on the board, courtesy of fifties from Campbell Kellaway and Handscomb. In reply, New South Wales had a disastrous day with the bat as the Henriques-led side tumbled for just 136 runs.
At the moment, Victoria, in their second innings are 90/4 and lead by 226 runs after stumps on day 2.
Mitchell Starc Excited To Face Virat Kohli
Ahead of the crucial series from WTC's point of view, Starc talked about his contest with Virat Kohli and remarked that he is looking forward to square off against the former India skipper.
Starc heaped massive praise on Virat and remarked that the two have enjoyed a great battle. The left-arm seamer stated that he has got Virat out on a couple of occasions and admitted to being hit for a fair amount of runs.
