In a significant development, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has granted NOCs (No Objection Certificates) to Litton Das, Rishad Hossain, and Nahid Rana, allowing them to participate in the forthcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL). The tenth edition of Pakistan’s premier franchise tournament is set to begin on April 11.

It will be a month-long tournament featuring six teams competing for the coveted trophy. Defending champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars will square off against each other in the curtain raiser in Rawalpindi. Players from around the world have signed up to play in this tournament, including some key names from Bangladesh as well.

BCB Clears Path for Litton, Rishad, and Nahid in PSL 10

Previously, there were many speculations about the BCB not granting clearance to any of their players for the PSL 2025. However, they have now put an end to that uncertainty as Litton, a crucial figure in Bangladesh's Test side, and leg-spinner Rishad have been cleared to play the entire PSL season.

Litton will be representing Karachi Kings, while Rishad will join Lahore Qalandars. Meanwhile, star-pacer Nahid Rana, who is also part of the Bangladesh Test side, will join his side Peshawar Zalmi midway through the tournament, after the conclusion of Bangladesh's first Test match against Zimbabwe in Sylhet, which is scheduled to begin on April 20.

The BCB's decision to grant Litton full clearance for the entire season, despite him being an important player in their Test side, highlights the significance of the PSL and the opportunity it provides for the players to gain valuable experience and showcase their skills on a global stage.

In addition, Litton has a point to prove as he aims to bring his white-ball game back on track after being dropped from the Bangladesh's Champions Trophy squad. The PSL provides him with the perfect platform to regain his form in limited-overs cricket.
