Canada secured a berth at the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka next year. Under the leadership of Nicholas Kirton, Canada crushed Bahamas by seven wickets in King City in match number nine of the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Region Final tournament.

With five wins in five matches, Canada is set to top the points table of the four-team event, regardless of the results in the remaining two games on June 22 and June 23. Here, we take a look at a list of all nations that have qualified for the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.

Canada Joins Heavyweights For T20 World Cup 2026

Canada became the 13th team to qualify for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup next year. Set to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, the two subcontinental giants qualified for the tournament by default owing to their hosting rights.

The top seven teams of the previous T20 World Cup in 2024 (excluding India and Sri Lanka), also directly qualified for next year’s 2026 event. Here is a look at all 13 teams to have qualified for the next edition of ICC’s premier T20 global phenomenon.

List Of Teams Qualified For 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup

The outcome marked Canada’s only second appearance in a T20 World Cup, after previously qualifying for the 2024 edition in the West Indies and the USA.

Roadmap For Remaining 2026 T20 World Cup Berths

As many as seven slots are still up for grabs for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The upcoming Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Regional Final, set to be played between July 5 and July 11 in Netherlands between five teams, including the hosts, Guernsey, Italy, Jersey and Scotland; will determine two of those slots.

The Africa Qualifier in September later this year in Zimbabwe will determine two more qualifiers, while the subsequent Asia-EAP Qualifier in Oman in October will fix the remaining three entrants for the tournament.
