The upcoming edition of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) has been postponed by a couple of months by the tournament’s governing body. Initially scheduled to be played between November 19 and December 13, the LLC will now run from January 11 onwards till February 5 next year.

Notably, the upcoming LLC season will also be played across seven different cities, making it the league’s largest ever on-ground footprint to date.

LLC 2025 to be played in early 2026

As reported by ANI, the LLC 2025 dates has been revised from its November and December window to a new date bracket of January 11 and February 5. Much like the preceding editions of the tournament, the upcoming LLC season will also once again be going to regions with immense fan demand but with limited international cricketing opportunities.

The season is set to be played in six different Indian cities, namely Gwalior, Udaipur, Patna, Coimbatore, the Amritsar-Jalandhar region and Kochi. Moreover, the international leg of the tournament will likely be hosted by either Sharjah or Doha to connect with the global South Asian fan community in the Emirates.

LLC Chairman Vivek Khushalani himself confirmed the name of the cities in a press release.

LLC co-founder Raman Raheja also confirmed the league’s expansion, and described the upcoming LLC season as a “travelling festival of cricket”.

Nonetheless, the LLC will soon be unveiling the entire schedule of its January-February event. The Southern Super Stars will start out as defending champions, considering they defeated Konark Suryas Odishas in the previous LLC 2024 edition in a topsy-turvy Super Over. Former India all-rounder Yusuf Pathan belted 85 runs from just 38 balls in the game to hog the limelight with the bat.
