England’s commanding T20I series victory against West Indies has translated into major gains for their top performers in the latest ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings, released on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. The opening batters Ben Duckett and Jamie Smith have made substantial strides following their explosive contributions with the bat in the series. 

It is important to note that Ben Duckett scored 115 runs across the three matches at a blistering strike rate of 169. The innings helped him climb a staggering 48 places to reach No.16 in the world.

On the other hand, Jamie Smith made 102 runs at a strike rate of 200. His impactful performances earned him an extraordinary leap of 192 positions, placing him at No.75 on the T20I Batter Rankings.

Jos Buttler Re-Enters Top 5 

Jos Buttler emerged as the top scorer of the series with 165 runs, including two half-centuries. His consistent showing has seen him rise one spot, reclaiming his position among the world’s top five T20I batters.

On the other side, captainWest Indies Captain Shai Hope climbed 14 places to No.15. Rovman Powell also entered the top 20, largely propelled by his explosive unbeaten 79 off 45 balls in the final T20I.

Adil Rashid Closes No.1 Bowling Rank

England's spin ace Adil Rashid continued his climb in the latest ICC bowling ranking. He took four wickets during the series to move up two places to No.2. With a rating of 710, Rashid now trails New Zealand pacer Jacob Duffy by just 13 points. 

Rashid’s performances saw him overtake Wanindu Hasaranga and India’s Varun Chakaravarthy. Meanwhile, Brydon Carse also made gains, jumping 16 spots to reach No.52. The latest ICC rankings highlight England’s dominance in their 3-0 T20I whitewash over West Indies.
