Australian opener Usman Khawaja had a horrible outing in the World Test Championship final as experienced South African pacer Kagiso Rabada dismissed him for a duck. Opening the batting with Marnus Labuschagne, Khawaja couldn't open his account, with Rabada getting his prized scalp with a beauty.
Khawaja Records Joint-Most Ducks In ICC Finals
Veteran Australian opener Usman Khawaja had a torrid start to the ongoing WTC final. Despite playing 20 deliveries, the southpaw couldn't score a single run and got out in the seventh over.
This marked Khawaja's second duck in the final of an ICC event. It's worth mentioning that Khawaja has batted thrice in ICC finals, managing only 13 runs at a horrendous average of 4.33.
His duck in Australia's first innings of the WTC final got him into an unwanted list featuring Jasprit Bumrah, TM Dilshan and Brendon McCullum, all of whom have two ducks each in the ICC finals.
