England enjoyed stellar success on Tuesday as they sustained their dream run in the white-ball series against West Indies. Under Harry Brook's leadership, the English side steamrolled the visitors in the third T20I, ensuring another clean sweep with a clinical victory at The Rose Bowl in Southampton.

After being put into bat first, England posted a massive total of 248 runs, riding on sensational half-centuries from Jamie Smith and Ben Duckett. Interestingly, this marked England's best-ever team outing in a T20 International on home soil.

As the Englishmen scripted history, here are their five highest totals in T20Is at home.

5. 209/6 vs Australia, Southampton, 2013

Coincidentally, Southampton was the venue that witnessed England's highest team total at home back in 2013, as the hosts stormed their way through to a massive total of 209 runs.

They attained the phenomenal landmark against arch-rivals Australia, albeit in a losing cause. Batting first, the Aussies powered themselves to a whopping 248-run total, with Aaron Finch hitting 156 runs off just 63 balls.

After a shaky start, England regained their mojo, riding on Joe Root's majestic 49-ball 90, which was simply not enough to get them past the finish line.

4. 215/7 Vs India, Trent Bridge, 2022

England went past the 210-run mark in a T20I for the first time at home when they hammered India for 215 runs in a high-scoring affair at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

While Jason Roy and Jos Buttler couldn't convert their starts into significant scores, Dawid Malan rose to the occasion for the hosts. The southpaw smashed 77 runs off just 39 balls, defying India's skilful bowling attack.

Although Suryakumar Yadav struck a memorable ton, the Indian side fell flat during the run-chase, losing the game by 17 runs.

3. 221/5 vs Australia, Edgbaston, 2018

England's mammoth score of 221 runs against Australia in the 2018 Edgbaston T20I is their third-highest total at home in the shortest format. While Jos Buttler stunned the Aussies with a glorious 30-ball 61, valuable contributions from Jason Roy and Alex Hales ensured England breached the 200-run mark.

Despite Aaron Finch's breathtaking 41-ball 84, Australia lost regular wickets and eventually lost the match by 28 runs.

2. 234/6 Vs South Africa, Bristol, 2022

Before their heroics on Tuesday night, England had 234 as their highest T20I total at home. They achieved the remarkable feat against South Africa at Bristol in 2022.

Jonny Bairstow starred with the bat for England, amassing 90 runs off just 53 deliveries. Meanwhile, Moeen Ali hammered six massive sixes for his 18-ball 52, ensuring a fitting finish for the home side.

In reply, South Africa incurred a 41-run defeat despite a valiant 57-run knock from Reeza Hendricks and an explosive 28-ball 72 from Tristan Stubbs.

1. 248/3 vs West Indies, Southampton, 2025

England had a memorable outing with the bat in the third and final T20I against the West Indies in the third dead-rubber of the home series.

With Jamie Smith hammering 60 runs and Ben Duckett clobbering 84 off just 46 balls, the hosts destroyed West Indies' depleted attack in Southampton, plummeting 248 runs, their highest-ever T20I total at home. In response, West Indies managed 211 on the board, losing the game by 37 runs.
