Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), after just a solitary win in their first 8 games has made a miraculous comeback to win sic matches on the trot and make it to the playoffs after a 27-run victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Match 68 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

In the nerve-wracking final over thriller, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru needed a win of over 18 runs to qualify and the Super Kings needed to cross the 201-run mark to go through irrespective of the result.

After a rain-affected first half of the first innings, things initially looked tough for RCB batters as the ball started spinning square as the game resumed. Nevertheless, everyone in their batting order was able to up the ante after some initial struggle as they finished at 218/5.

Everyone put up their hands with the ball as they were able to stop the visitors at 191, which was 10 short of what was required from them as Yash Dayal bowled a legendary last over for the ages. 

After their team pulled off a comeback for the ages, the whole RCB fan base went bonkers on social media, singing praises for their team.
