Jaiswal Gains Big, Shubman Gill Gets New Career-High Rating In Latest ICC T20I Rankings

India's dynamic top-order batters, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill, have made giant strides in the recently updated ICC T20I rankings. On Tuesday, India swatted aside Sri Lanka in a super over thriller to whitewash the hosts in a three-match T20I series. 

Jaiswal and Gill, who played some scintillating knocks in the series, have been rewarded with exponential rise in the updated ICC T20I rankings. 


Jaiswal in top five, Gill moves 16 places up

After India's T20 World Cup triumph, Jaiswal and Gill have showcased their mettle as openers, playing vital roles in the series wins against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. 

Jaiswal, who struck at a blistering rate of 177.78, has moved two places up to number four, while Gill has jumped sixteen places to the 21st position with a career-best rating of 613. 

Meanwhile, ace Indian spinner Ravi Bishnoi has gained eight spots to become India's top-ranked T20I bowler. 

Bishnoi, who performed incredibly in Sri Lanka T20Is, currently sits at number ten, with Adil Rashid claiming the top position. 

Among others, premier Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh has risen four places to the 19th, while Washington Sundar (up six spots to 40th) and Mohammed Siraj (up 37 places to 47th) have also made significant gains.
