The fans were quick to the task and did not take time to solve the crossword. However, the mystery was far from over as eight players names were found to be on the list.

Notably, Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, Yash Dayal, Mohammed Siraj, Will Jacks, and Cameron Green were the eight names present on the list.

However, the BCCI has allowed a maximum of just six-players to be retained. Thus, the fans have to wait till October 31 to get the actual retention list.

Virat Kohli To Lead RCB

The latest update from the RCB camp is that Virat Kohli is set to succeed Faf du Plessis to captain RCB for IPL 2025. Notably, the three-times finalists are planning to release Faf.

Du Plessis had a dismal season last year and was not among the runs. Further, age is also not on Du Plessis' side.
