The IPL 2025 mega auction has got off and has gathered great momentum with player prices breaking records. In the first two marquee sets, players like Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer have broken the banks. 

The franchises have spent INR 180.50 Crores for the players in the marquee sets. As the auction moves ahead to the other sets, here is a look at three players who have got their biggest hikes during the IPL 2025 mega auction.

3. David Miller - 150% Rise

The finisher from South Africa was a part of the Gujarat Titans during the IPL 2024 for a price of just INR 3 Cr. During the IPL 2025 mega auction, the franchises were interested to acquire the services of the finisher to provide solidity and dynamism to their middle-order. As a result, the price of David Miller went upto INR 7.5 Cr. This means that he saw a rise in the salary by INR (7.5 - 3) = 4 Cr. If we see in percetage, then the rise is about 150%.

2. Yuzvendra Chahal - 177% Rise

The Indian leg spinner has proven himself as an efficient wicket taker in all conditions. Yuzvendra Chahal was a part of the Rajasthan Royals for INR 6.5  Cr during the IPL 2024. The teams seemed really interested in the spinner and has a result the cost of the player soared upto INR 18 Cr. Thus, in percentage Chahal got a rise of 177% in his price. This is the second highest in the marquee set of the IPL 2025.

1. Arshdeep Singh - 350% Rise

The Indian pacer, Arshdeep Singh was the first player to go under the hammer during the IPL 2025 auction. Six players went in a bidding war for the bowler. The pacer's death over expertise made him the most sought after entity during the auction. Arshdeep Singh was a part of the Punjab Kings during the IPL 2024 at a cost of INR 4 Cr. The demand for the pacer saw his price soar to INR 18Cr. Thus the price rose by INR (18 Cr- 4 Cr)= 14 Cr. His percentage increase in salary was 350%, the highest in the first two sets of IPL 2025 mega auction.
