On Tuesday, August 28, ICC appointed Jay Shah as the new chairman. Shah has become the youngest person to chair the top position in ICC.

The 35-year-old will start his tenure from December 1 after Greg Barclay will end his 2nd term as the ICC Chairman. Meanwhile, the fans are curious as to how much will Shah earn?

It is worth noting that Jay Shah does not have a fixed salary as BCCI secretary. Rather, similar to players, he is paid in daily allowances.

The positions of BCCI President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary are classified as 'honorary,’ meaning that Shah does not earn a fixed monthly or annual salary.

As reported by Khel Now, Shah earns ₹82,000 for attending international meetings or participating in foreign tours related to Indian cricket. When attending domestic meetings, he is provided with a daily allowance of ₹40,000, along with business class travel.

Additionally, for work-related travel within India that is not associated with meetings, Shah receives ₹30,000 per day.
