Gujarat Titans have been hit with unfortunate news before the IPL 2024 season. Robin Minz, the talented wicketkeeper of the Titans, who was involved in a bike accident on March 3rd, is doubtful for the IPL season.

The news of Robin Minz's bike accident sent shockwaves through the cricketing community. The incident, which occurred in Ranchi, saw Robin's superbike collide with another vehicle, resulting in an injury to his right knee. While the impact left his bike badly damaged, the most important news is that Robin himself is reportedly in stable condition, currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Who is Robin Minz?

Robin Minz's meteoric rise in the cricketing world is nothing short of remarkable. At just 21 years old, he has already carved out a place for himself as one of the most promising talents in the country. What sets him apart is not just his exceptional skill on the field, but also the historic milestone he achieved by becoming the first indigenous cricketer to secure a spot in an IPL team. The Gujarat Titans made a bold statement by signing him for a staggering 3.6 crores.

Will Robin Minz play IPL 2024?

Even though Robin Minz got hurt in a bike crash, there's still a slight chance he might play in the IPL. The coach of the Gujarat Titans, Nehra, hasn't said for sure that Robin won't play. This means if Robin gets better soon and the doctors say he can play, he might still join the team for second half of IPL.

“Robin Minz is unlikely to play IPL this year, but still he has not been ruled out 100 per cent. He is under observation. Another two weeks, we will see how it goes, or maybe quicker,” said Nehra.

We'll have to wait for further updates to see if Minz will be able to play in IPL 2024.
