After losing the Under-19 ODI series to India 2-3, England's Under-19 side will now face their opponents in a two-match Test series, starting on July 12th. The England Cricket Board (ECB) now have revealed the squad for the first four-day Test, set to be played at Beckenham.

Andrew Flintoff and Michael Vaughan's Sons Feature In England's Under-19 Test Squad

The England Under-19 and India's under-19 men's sides will collide in a two-match Test series, slated to begin on July 12th at the County Ground in Beckenham, following a thrilling ODI series. These two four-day Test matches will provide a glimpse of the future, where some exciting prospects will be nurtured.

Headlining the squad is Warwickshire's Hamza Shaikh, who will be the captain of the side, with his teammate Tanzeem Ali as well. However, the biggest inclusions in the side are England legend Andrew Flintoff's son, Rocky Flintoff, who represents Lancashire, and former English keeper Michael Vaughan's son, Archie Vaughan, who plays for Somerset.

Alongside them is Durham's James Minto, a left-arm pacer, who will be getting ample opportunities to display his talent. Shaikh returns as the skipper of the side, as he last played against Sri Lanka in the under-19 series. However, he missed the under-19 series against South Africa after being named in the England Lions squad.

The ECB have revealed the squad for the first Test, to be played at the County Ground in Beckenham from July 12th to 15th, whereas the squad for the second Test will be revealed in the meantime. Following the first Test, the second Test will be played from July 20th to July 23rd and is expected to feature some changes to the initial squad.
