Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) upscaled their meme game once again, and this time, it’s a spicy crossover between cricket and internet culture. In a cheeky tweet poster, KKR compared the trio of Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, and Gautam Gambhir to powerful dragons.

The Indian team arrived in London earlier this week to prepare for the third Test against England, scheduled at the Mecca of cricket, the Lord’s Cricket Ground.

The Test will begin on July 10, and the players resumed practice earlier this week.

Gautam Gambhir Joins Jadeja, Bumrah In Warm-Up Session

In a picture made viral by the IPL franchise, KKR, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, and head coach Gautam Gambhir were seen running as part of their warm-up drill.

They compared the picture of the trio to a meme featuring 3 powerful dragons. The implication is clear that Bumrah, Jadeja, and Gambhir are deadly individuals breathing fire. Together, they create a formidable trio that can take on any dangerous opposition on a given day.

Meanwhile, Gambhir is currently coaching the Indian senior cricket team across all formats. The sight of Bumrah in practice has come as a relief for Indian fans, as he is expected to return to the playing XI for the third Test after missing the previous game at Edgbaston due to excessive workload concerns.

Jasprit Bumrah Gears Up For Lord’s Test

India received a major boost ahead of the 3rd Test against England at Lord’s as Jasprit Bumrah was seen bowling full tilt in the nets. According to Revsportz, Bumrah trained for 45 minutes, hitting top speed and showing no signs of discomfort.

The star pacer was rested for the second Test at Edgbaston due to workload management, but is now expected to return to the playing XI. Bumrah had claimed a five-wicket haul in the opening Test and could now rejoin forces with Siraj and Akash Deep as India look to take a 2-1 lead.
