K Easwaran recently sent down an atrocious over-the-top no-ball while bowling against IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans in match number 26 of the TNPL 2024 season. Turning up for the Trichy Grand Cholas in Dindigul, the 27-year-old overstepped from his crease by nearly a yard while bowling at Tamizhans number six batter Maan Bafna in the final powerplay over.

Easwaran’s no-ball fiasco occurred shortly after the speedster dismissed Radhakrishnan to subject IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans to 37-3 in less than four overs.

Netizens took note of Easwaran’s bowling blunder and launched a scathing attack on the Trichy Grand Cholas fast bowler across social media.

Netizens slam K Easwaran for inflated no-ball, allege foul-play

Several Indian cricket fans flocked to X (formerly Twitter) and slammed Trichy Grand Cholas fast bowler K Easwaran for bowling an atrocious no-ball to an IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans batter in match 26 of the TNPL 2024 season on July 27.

While some fans alleged foul-play on part of Easwaran, others compared the speedster with Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir’s match-fixing no-ball act of 2010 against England. A handful of fans even urged TNPL and Tamil Nadu officials to ban K Easwaran from competitive cricket.

Here is a look at some of the fans expressing their reactions over Easwaran’s bizarre no-ball blunder:

K Easwaran eventually finished with figures of 1-32 as IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans amassed 169-8 from their 20 overs. Maan Bafna, the batting subject of Easwaran’s no-ball controversy, top-scored for his team with an attacking 35-ball half-century.

Remarkably, the Trichy Grand Cholas paceman recently delivered a sublime spell of 6-32 against Dindigul Dragons earlier in the ongoing TNPL 2024 season.
