According to emerging reports, Pakistan's explosive opener Fakhar Zaman is considering retiring from One-Day Internationals. Fakhar Zaman had a forgettable time in the Champions Trophy, as he was ruled out of the tournament with an injury.

Eventually, the swashbuckling batter was ruled out of the Champions Trophy. Meanwhile, Pakistan's local media has released a report claiming the batter would retire from ODIs very soon.
The report claims that Fakhar had conversations with his colleagues regarding his ODI retirement and might move abroad with family after bidding adieu to the format.

Renowned for his scintillating stroke-play, Fakhar Zaman made his ODI debut against South Africa at Edgbaston, Birmingham, in 2017. In 85 ODI innings, the dynamic left-handed batter has amassed 3651 runs at a magnificent average of 46.21 and a blistering strike rate of 93.85.
He has struck eleven hundreds and seventeen fifties, showcasing his knack for playing significant knocks at the highest level. He became the first batter from Pakistan to slam an ODI double ton, which he pummelled Zimbabwe in an ODI in Bulawayo in 2018. Interestingly, he still remains the only batter from his country who has achieved this illustrious milestone.
