Sunrisers Hyderabad have made a lot of changes in their batting order this season and have failed to click as a unit. They have tried four different opening combinations in 8 games and have just not been able to produce the results that were expected from them.

Harry Brook hit a century against KKR but failed to get going in all other matches and now has seen himself being demoted in the batting order in the 40th game of the IPL against DC. Mayank Agarwal and Abhishek Sharma went out to open in this game but Mayank failed again and departed on 5 off 6 balls to hand Ishant Sharma and DC their first wicket in the third over.

The same pair of Mayank Agarwal and Abhishek Sharma started off the season as openers for SRH, but with Brook struggling against spin in the middle overs, SRH management decided to send the Englishman at the top of the order. They also had problems deciding on Brook's partner and kept swapping between Mayank Agarwal and Abhishek Sharma.

Can Sunrisers Hyderabad Post a Big Total?

An experienced batter like Mayank has also not been in his elements this season and has looked the pale shadow of the opener he once was for the Punjab Kings. At the time of writing, SRH are 46-2 at the end of 5 overs, with Mayank Agarwal and Rahul Tripathi back in the hut. Abhishek Sharma is batting well on 27 and would hope that Aiden Markram, who has walked out to the middle, gets going as well.
