[Watch] Mohit Sharma Takes a Stunning Catch to Dismiss Shardul Thakur

Mohit Sharma has been the talk of the town this season with his brilliant comeback in IPL. He has bowled some spectacular spells this season and now have waived his magic in the field too. He took a stunning backward running catch against KKR to get rid of Shardul Thakur and showed once again, that he is a man on mission in this season.

Talking about the catch, the bowler was Mohammed Shami and served a length delivery on off. The mid on was inside the circle and Shardul Thakur tries to lift it over mid on but failed to time it well. The ball went high in the air behind mid on and it looked like ball will fall away from the mid on fielder. However, Mohit Sharma had other plans as he sprinted backwards, kept his eyes on the ball till the last moment and dived full length to take a splendid catch.

It was the second wicket for GT and Shami at that time and at the time of writing, KKR are 105-4 at the end of 13 overs. Gurbaz is batting well and has got to his second fifty in the IPL but no other batter has been able to support him for a long time. KKR will hope that Rinku Singh who is batting with Gurbaz now, can fire again against GT. Last time Rinku Singh played against GT, he smashed five sixes in the final over to pull off a memorable win for his side.
