Dawid Malan made his debut way back in 2006 and in his 19th year, the batter has crossed 10000 runs in the format. The southpaw achieved the record in the T20 Blast match between Yorkshire and Leicestershire. He needed just two runs to reach the landmark and he achieved with a lovely six over extra cover.

Dawid Malan is now the fifth England batter to score 10000 T20 runs alongside the likes of Alex Hales, Jos Buttler, James Vince and Jason Roy. Malan was once a regular in the England T20I side and has played across formats for his country. 

The English batter also crossed 10000 T20 runs in his 358th innings. In the process, he went past Rohit Sharma in the list of fastest to get to 10000 runs as the Hitman had reached the landmark in 362 innings. Overall, Babar Azam is at the top of the list of the fastest to score 10000 T20 runs while the likes of Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, David Warner and Aaron Finch follow him.

Dawid Malan not only crossed the 10000 runs in his innings, but also played a brilliant knock of 88 off just 48 balls. He hit eight fours and five sixes and as a result, Yorkshire posted a massive score of 213 in the first innings. They eventually won the game by 106 runs and it was Malan's second consecutive fifty in the season.
