Rishabh Pant was not at his best in the recently held Indian Premier League. However, he did score a century in the last game of the season, and it seems that he has found his mojo of  clean-hitting back just ahead of the all-important five-match Test series in England.

Rishabh Pant Shows His Power In Practice Session Ahead Of England Series

In the longest format, there are very few players who come close to Rishabh Pant when it comes to aggressive batting. The Indian team would be expecting the same belligerent approach from Rishabh Pant in the upcoming series, and now a destructive six from the wicketkeeper would have increased their confidence.

In a video posted by the official X handle of ESPNcricinfo, Rishabh Pant is seen playing a slog-sweep to Washington Sundar. The batter connects cleanly and ends up hitting it on the roof and creating a hole in it. Pant Set To Play Bigger Role In Absence Of Seniors

Rishabh Pant is also the designated vice-captain of the new Test team under Shubman Gill. Thus, he would need to take more responsibility in the upcoming five-match Test series with seniors like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma retired. 

The Indian wicketkeeper made his debut seven years back in England itself and has two centuries and two fifties in the nine Test matches he has played in the country. Also, despite his struggle in the white-ball formats, Rishabh Pant has always scored runs in the Test format and has played plenty of memorable knocks under pressure in difficult conditions.
