After enjoying the highs of a remarkable victory in the final of the ICC World Cup 2023 against India on Sunday (November 19), Pat Cummins opted to enjoy the aftermath in the calm scenes of the famous Sabarmati River Cruise ride.

Even as the passionate Australian fans lauded him and his troops for their great allround effort that culminated in a sixth men's One-Day International crown, Cummins decided to step outside of the fanfare and frenzy associated with his team's triumph and relax with a popular ride before making the return trip Down Under.

The great cricketer was captured enjoying the Sabarmati River Cruise with the rest of the Australian players, who would still be soaking in their excellent win over the tournament favourites Men in Blue in front of a packed 1,30,000-seated crowd at the Motera Stadium.

Cummins' Australia Enjoys Sabarmati River Cruise Ride

In the two-part clip captured by the Press Trust Of India, Cummins and other Australian cricketers were seen standing on the cruise ship while it took them around the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad, which is one of the famous tourist activities in the western India state of Gujarat.

Australia once again peaked at the business end of an ICC tournament after stuttering through the league stage. Even as the Kangaroos overcame their initial pair of losses with eight consecutive victories, hardly anyone gave them a chance to upstage the mighty Indian juggernaut that had enjoyed a run of ten successive wins before the ultimate finale.

As it transpired, Cummins would finish the day calling it as pinnacle moment of his playing and captaincy career as the Aussies rallied together to disrupt the rampaging Indian men and created history by winning the summit clash by six wickets.
