Official says CSK hopeful in getting Sanju Samson: Report
A Chennai Super Kings (CSK) official has said that the franchise is hopeful of getting Rajasthan Royals zealot Sanju Samson on board for the IPL 2026 season. While speaking with the PTI, the official, however, claimed that they are yet to get a respond from the Royals. It is worth noting that the CSK franchise is willing to trade their all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in exchange of Samson. Moreover, recent reports even indicate that English cricketer Sam Curran might join Rajasthan.
BCCI official criticises Mohammed Shami
A Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) official has criticised fast bowler Mohammed Shami over the latter’s claim of having “no communication” with the selection committee. While speaking with the PTI, the official stated that national selectors and support staff members have already checked in on Shami, and even wanted him on board for the five-match Test tour of England earlier this year. It is worth noting that the BCCI selection committee is repeatedly sidelining Mohammed Shami off late citing injury concerns, a claim quashed by the fast bowler himself.

Starc’s Sheffield Sheild appearance marks his dress rehearsal before turning up for Australia in the upcoming blockbuster five-match Ashes Test series against England at home. The legendary paceman recently announced his retirement from T20Is to prioritise ODIs and Test cricket.

The veteran politician confirmed the same during a felicitation event in Bengal in honour of the youngster, saying that the stadium will be called “Richa Cricket Stadium”.

The Pakistan T20I tri-series is scheduled to commence from November 17 onwards at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
