Will Hosts Pull Out If India Doesn't Travel To Pakistan?
Earlier, ex-Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer, Rashid Latif had said that if India don't visit Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, then the hosts will pull out of the tournament. In a statement to Geo News he revealed:
“We can say that India does not want to play bilateral matches, but you can’t deny the ICC events as you already have signed it. India has to make solid ground. If India doesn’t come this time, Pakistan will take a big step by not participating in the tournament.”
Meanwhile, India last travelled to Pakistan in 2008 for the Asia Cup.
