Kerala born stunner, Sanju Samson has been the talk of the town as he finally seems to have unearthed the talent hidden in him. Coming at the back of brilliant centuries for India, Samson looks unstoppable. Despite a dismissal for a duck in the second T20 against South Africa, his recent performance has been a testament to his growing prowess in the game.

Samson Becomes 2nd Indian In An Unwanted Record

While the right-handed batter has made his way into several unforgettable records, he has unfortunately also entered a forgetful list after his recent outing against the Proteas. He becomes the second Indian batter after Yashasvi Jaiswal to be dismissed for a duck following a ton in the T20I.

In 2023, Jaiswal slammed a sensational hundred off 49 balls against Nepal; however, he was dismissed for a duck in the next game against Bangladesh. Similarly, Sanju Samson, who impressed the spectators with his commanding back to back centuries fell for an unfortunate duck in the second game of the India tour of South Africa.

The list also features the names of famous cricketers who have also been removed for a duck after a well-made century in the previous game, players like Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum, Colin Munro, Leslie Dunbar, Rilee Rossouw, Aaron Johnson and the latest inclusion, Philip Salt.
