Indian Captain Rohit Sharma and star middle-order Shreyas Iyer have left for Sri Lanka to join the Indian contingent for the three-match ODI rubber against Sri Lanka starting next Friday. The paparazzi spotted Rohit and Shreyas at the Mumbai Airport on Sunday afternoon.

The Indian T20I team is currently playing in the shortest format against the hosts. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has retired from T20Is, and the IPL-winning captain wasn't picked for the T20 series. However, both these batters will be an integral part of the ODI setup, with the Champions Trophy 2025 just months away.

Besides Rohit and Shreyas, Virat Kohli is supposed to join the Indian team in the Island nation on July 29 (Monday). Having said that, Kohli will be flying from London to directly reach Sri Lanka.

The ODIs between Sri Lanka and India are scheduled to be played on August 2, 4 and 7 at the R Premadasa Stadium.
