He has slammed two fifties and a century, signifying his consistency in ODIs on South African soil. 

Meanwhile, Babar has faced South Africa in three ODIs at a neutral venue, scoring 150 runs at an average of 75. Thus, overall, he has 573 ODI runs under his belt against South Africa and could be a crucial player for Pakistan in the opening game at Boland Park in Paarl.
