The WPL 2025 Auction is done and dusted and RCB, the defending champions of the tournament have bought four quality Indian players to form a formidable 18-member squad for the next season.
Smriti Mandhana will lead the high-profile team again which is full of international and domestic superstars and they would hope that the new additions would add value to their squad. Their most expensive buy in the auction was Prema Rawat who was bought for 1.2 Crore while the likes of Jagravi Pawar, Raghvi Bist and Joshitha VJ were all bought for 10 Lakhs each.

Now, in an exclusive interview with OneCricket, the RCB skipper has expressed her happiness after the auction picks and stated that the four picks would make their team more dynamic and ready for the varied challenges and situations that would come their way. She also praised the players who were selected in the auction and credited their domestic performances for the recognition they are getting.
Smriti Mandhana also looked keen to join her teammates for the upcoming edition of WPL and vowed to fans that they would give their best again.
"I am really happy with the auction picks; we have got what we were looking for, making the team more dynamic and ready for all challenges and situations. I am thrilled to have Prema Rawat, Joshitha VJ, Raghvi Bist, and Jagravi Pawar, who have done exceptionally well in the domestic circuit, and I can’t wait to join the girls in the dressing room and give our best for the RCB fans."
RCB beat Delhi Capitals in the final of WPL 2024 by eight wickets and displayed great teamwork in that tournament with different players emerging as heroes in varied situations. They would be hoping to deliver the same result again, and expect an exciting aggressive brand of cricket from Mandhana's girls when the third edition of WPL unfolds in 2025.
