Ayush Badoni Replaces Injured KL Rahul as an Opener ; Comes in as an Impact Player

In the ongoing game between LSG-RCB, KL Rahul injured himself in the second over of the RCB's innings while chasing a back foot punch of Faf du Plessis in the cover region. He looked in some serious pain and walked off the field with lot of pain, even unable to walk on his own.
Krunal Pandya then captained LSG in the rest of the innings as KL Rahul was seen nowhere in the picture. LSG bowled well though and restricted RCB to 126 and in reply, Ayush Badoni, the impact player was brought on straightaway by LSG as an opener replacing injured KL Rahul alongside Kyle Mayers.
This is the first time Ayush Badoni is opening in the IPL and it remains to be seen how he goes about his business after a good performance at number 3 in the last game. He has replaced Yash Thakur in the XI and KL Rahul, on the other hand, was seen on the sidelines limping with a bat towards the dugout.
