Thus far, in the ongoing clash between Lucknow and Bangalore, the former team has had the edge over Faf du Plessis-led unit. The LSG spinners webbed a guileful trap at Lucknow's tricky track, and the RCB batters couldn't much against them. LSG's all four tweakers were exceptional with the ball, but Krunal Pandya was a class apart with his fielding as well.
After losing the toss, LSG played on their strength and didn't let Bangalore batters live on their terms at the Ekana Stadium. Despite having a 62-run opening stand, the visitors kept on losing wickets regularly once the two leg-spinners were introduced. However, the home team had one of the greatest moments on the field after a brief stoppage due to the rain.

Just when RCB's captain and their best batter on the day, Faf du Plessis, started to cut loose against Amit Mishra - he tried going over mid-off. Instead, the ball blazed off the toe-end of his blade, and Krunal Pandya rushed backwards and to his right from the cover region to take one of the best catches of the season.

After the Du Plessis and Kohli stand, Bangalore lost their way against Lucknow, as no other batter - apart from the openers - could contribute with the bat as they ended their innings on 126-9.
The wrecker-in-chiefs for LSG were Naveen-ul-Haq, Ravi Bishnoi and Amit Mishra, who shared seven wickets between them. Meanwhile, all the other bowlers bowled miserly, especially Krunal, with his spell of 0/21 in his four overs.
With their skipper injured, LSG will have to chase down a target of 127 runs on a tricky pitch if they want to bag two crucial points on the table.
