[Watch] KL Rahul Gets Injured against RCB; Walks off the field in Serious Pain

KL Rahul has faced a lot of criticism in recent times due to his strike rate and has been not at his best in IPL 2023 either. However, things have now got even worse for the stylish right-handed batter and LSG skipper as he has injured his right thigh muscle pretty badly while fielding in LSG-RCB game at Lucknow.
He injured himself while trying to chase a ball as Faf du Plessis punched a length delivery through covers. KL Rahul looked good while chasing initially but somewhere in the middle hurt himself and fell on the ground badly, bringing all his teammates and people all over the ground in a shock.
Rahul looked in some serious pain and was not able to get on his feet initially as his teammates and support staff got around him. The stretcher was also brought inside the field, but KL, after some time, managed to get on his feet with the help of support staff around him and walked off the field.
The incident happened on the last delivery of the second over, and since then, Krunal Pandya has taken over the captaincy of LSG. At the time of writing, RCB are 42-0 at the end of the Powerplay with Kohli and Faf du Plessis batting cautiously.
