The young and dynamic Abhishek Sharma shattered records for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) as he smashed most sixes in a single season for the franchise with an epic knock against LSG in IPL 2024.

Abhishek Sharma was retained by SRH earlier this year and was entrusted with the responsibility to open the innings alongside Australian sensation Travis Head.

A 23 year old Abhishek Sharma not only repaid SRH's trust but also overshadowed Travis Head on multiple occasions with his impeccable display of powerful hitting.

In a recent display of mad hitting, Abhishek brought up a 19 ball half century to propel SRH to a 10-wicket victory against LSG in just 10 overs of the chase and in the process set up a remarkable record for the franchise.

In 12 innings this IPL 2024 season, Abhishek Sharma has 401 runs with an exceptional strike rate of 205.64, which comprises 30 fours and 35 sixes.

Those 35 sixes were the most ever hit by an SRH player in the franchise's history, and Abhishek Sharma managed to achieve the rare feat at just 23 years of age.

Needless to say, Abhishek Sharma's record-breaking feat is a reflection of his hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence on the cricket field.

Having been mentored by the great former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, Abhishek is walking in the footsteps of his mentor to become an impactful all-rounder who will potentially go on to achieve big things for Indian cricket in the future.
